Each size comprises a five-piece block set: bodice front and back, sleeve, and skirt front and back. Draft any garment style—blouses, skirts, dresses, jackets, coats—with professional precision every time.
No seam allowance, no ease. These clean, accurate slopers have precisely aligned notches and a sleeve that's perfectly calibrated to hang correctly in the bodice armscye.
Each pattern piece is a separate file and includes a 5cm calibration square for easy, accurate printing on A4 or AO printers.
About the Creator
Julia Panciroli founded Couture Academy to share her technical expertise with designers and dressmakers worldwide - a couture designer and university-level educator, whose career spans over three decades at the highest level of the fashion industry, she has presented collections in the UK, Los Angeles and San Francisco, with fashion shows in partnership with Tiffany & Co. and Boucheron Paris.
Throughout my career, I've seen how the right basic blocks can transform a designer's workflow—cutting development time in half and dramatically improving fit across an entire collection.
I perfected these slopers for my own design business and to share with my MFA Fashion Degree students because I was tired of seeing talented designers waste precious time adjusting poorly-drafted blocks.
